All I Want for Christmas is You: Baby’s First Christmas

Here comes Santa Claus! Now that we have started our family, it has rekindled the Christmas spirit in our household. Children make Christmas magical and I am so excited for the years to come and sharing the magic of Christmas with our little one.

I thought I’d share a few great finds I purchased this year to make baby’s first Christmas extra special.

To start things off, baby’s first Christmas is not complete without a first Christmas ornament. I came across this local graphic designer Margaux Bucher who hand letters Christmas Bulbs. They are gorgeous and I knew right away I was getting one for our little man. I ordered it from her website and had it in my mailbox within a few days. I had it personalized with “First Xmas 2017”, but these would make a great add-on to a gift and a great modern gift tag!

I knew I had to find a special plate to leave out cookies for Santa. On Etsy I came across this Santa Treat Board by Handmade By Swans and could not leave it behind. You personalize it with your child(s) names and have two choices of board sizes. This is a great price and fantastic quality.

I also found the perfect stocking from Wayfair. I am slightly obsessed with shopping online at Wayfair and I couldn’t resist when I saw this adorable Rudolph stocking. It’s a decent size and great quality.

As we read a story before bed every night, we had to add some Christmas stories to our book collection. I picked up Little Blue Truck’s Christmas from Michaels Craft Store with a 40% off coupon and ordered The Night Before Christmas in padded board book style from Indigo (also on sale!).

On Christmas Eve we have a tradition of getting new pyjamas and enjoying a Christmas movie. This year our little guy will be wearing his Star Wars gingerbread print pyjama set for from the Gap. I picked it up online shopping on Black Friday for 50% off!

Last but not least, I wanted a special outfit for Christmas morning, so I picked out this body suit and pant set from Carters.

I can’t wait for Christmas morning this year. I know our little guy won’t really know the difference but I know it’s going to be our best one ever as I’ve already got the best gift of all.
